Privacy Policy

Effective 30 September 2026

Diskscape is a disk space analyzer for macOS made by zaARTix's lab. In short: it collects nothing, and what it reads stays on your Mac.

What Diskscape collects

Nothing. Diskscape has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting of its own, and it doesn't send the results of your scans anywhere.

What Diskscape stores on your Mac

Alerts are checked on your Mac, and their notifications are delivered by macOS's own notification center; nothing about them leaves the Mac.

All of this is kept in Diskscape's own sandbox container in your user Library on this Mac.

Purchases

Diskscape Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; Diskscape only checks on your Mac that the purchase exists. Apple's privacy policy covers what Apple collects.

Clipboard and sharing

Copy as Text and Copy Path put paths and sizes on the clipboard only when you choose them.

Coding agents

Diskscape's command line runs on your Mac and sends nothing over the network. If you connect a coding agent, the agent reads what the command line prints, as it reads anything else you ask it about, and may send it to the agent's provider under that provider's terms. Diskscape itself doesn't contact any agent or provider.

Children

Diskscape collects no data from anyone, children included.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
